sqooidjpdb.io is an amazing website I've been using to build up my Japanese vocabulary as I make my journey to becoming a full-blown 親日. The web app uses SRS to show you cards at the most effective time. Therefore, you want to review your cards as close to that time as possible, but since the web app has no notification mechanism, you would have to open the app and check if there are any cards ready.
Naturally, doing any kind of manual labour is too much work, so I made this ultra-simple app to scrape periodically scrape the web app and give me a notification when there are cards ready for review. It even comes with some settings:
